Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SAINT (“the Service”) operated by SAINT Protection (“we,” “our,” or “us”) at saintprotection.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.
2. Description of Service
SAINT is a privacy protection service that scans publicly accessible AI training databases, data brokers, people-search engines, and facial recognition platforms for your personal information, and submits opt-out and data removal requests to those platforms on your behalf.
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Features available to you depend on your active subscription tier (Scout, Guardian, or Sentinel).
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using SAINT, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and are submitting personal information that belongs to you or that you are authorised to submit on behalf of another person.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account.
You may not create accounts using false identities, submit another person's personal information without their explicit consent, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings page. Cancellation takes effect immediately and your access to paid features will end at that time. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address.
6. Scan Results — Accuracy Disclaimer
SAINT makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of scan results. Our scanning technology searches publicly accessible sources and third-party databases, but coverage is not exhaustive. Some platforms may not be indexed, may block our scanning, or may change their data structures without notice.
Scan results may vary between scans due to changes in third-party databases, caching, network conditions, and the inherently dynamic nature of data on the internet. The absence of results for a given platform does not guarantee that your data is not present on that platform.
You should not rely on SAINT as your sole means of determining whether your personal information appears on any third-party site or platform.
7. No Guarantee of Data Removal
SAINT does not guarantee the removal of your personal data from any third-party website, platform, database, or AI training set. We submit opt-out and removal requests on your behalf in accordance with applicable laws (including GDPR Article 17 and the California Consumer Privacy Act), but we have no control over whether third parties honour, process, or comply with those requests.
Third-party sites may refuse, ignore, delay, or only partially comply with removal requests. Some platforms may re-index or re-acquire your data after a removal has been completed. Certain data may be exempt from removal under applicable law (e.g., public records, journalistic use, or legal obligations).
SAINT is not responsible for the actions or inactions of any third-party platform, data broker, AI company, facial recognition provider, or other third party with respect to your removal requests, and we shall not be liable for any failure of a third party to remove your data.
Our Service is best understood as an advocacy and automation tool that acts on your behalf — not as a legally binding mechanism that compels third-party compliance.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit personal information belonging to another person without their explicit written consent.
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the SAINT platform or its underlying infrastructure.
- Use the Service for commercial data harvesting or competitive intelligence purposes.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service or its servers.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, software, design, branding, and materials on the SAINT platform are the exclusive property of SAINT Protection and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any SAINT content without our prior written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SAINT and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to SAINT in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SAINT and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or by posting an updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
